Very often international trade is not fair! Especially tobacco farmers and workers in the factories in Latin America suffer from extremely low wages and poor healthcare. They are far from getting a fair share of the trade. By purchasing fair traded tobacco products consumers in the first world can contribute to the well-being of workers, farmers and their families.

Introducing Fairtrade

Cigars and other fair traded tobacco products are an alternative to conventional tobacco products. The fair-trade system of FAIRTAB is based on a partnership between third-world producers and first-world consumers. If a product bears the FAIRTAB Mark it means that both producers and traders have met the high standards of Fairtrade. It guarantees fair wages and a much higher than usual standard of medical care for the producers in the third world.
